Building chemical manufacturer Bond-It will introduce its new Rap-Tile tape at this year’s Torque-Expo Coventry.

Rap-Tile is an emergency self-fusing silicone repair tape which is air-tight, waterproof and sticks to itself. The tape can insulate up to 8,000 volts and is pressure resistant up to eight bar.

Rap-Tile tape is ideal for fixing pipes, hoses, wiring, leaks and breakages. Able to withstand working temperatures of 200 degrees Celsius, it can also resist oils, acids, solvents, salt water, road salt and UV rays. The tape can be used on cars, trucks, boats and aircraft.

Based in West Yorkshire, Bond-It is a global manufacturer of high-performance building chemicals, including sealants and adhesives. The company also manufactures grouts, cleaners, expanding foams and fillers.

Connect to the fastener, tool and related industries with Torque-Expo Coventry, 3-4 October 2018, at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
